A lot of people love the Lord of the Rings books. There’s something about them that just lets people get lost in their pages, not to mention that the work pretty much birthed the entire fantasy genre that so many geeks absolutely adore. If you’re a regular reader of GodisaGeek.com, then you’ll probably also know that I love the LEGO series of games, usually preferring to play them on the multitude of handheld systems, but if an opportunity arises to play them on any format, then I’m going to jump at the chance.
I recently had the chance to review LEGO Lord of the Rings (the review of which will be here on GodisaGeek.com at the start of next week) and, seeing as that game is being released today, we thought we’d give you a little look at the game before we tell you what we thought.
Sit back and enjoy the first 15 minutes of LEGO Lord of the Rings:
I also managed to get my lovely wife to play some co-op with me – actually, I managed to convince her to let me be player two if the truth be known – so here’s another video, this time showing the multiplayer aspect of the title and nicely showcasing the dynamic split screen of LEGO Lord of the Rings.
LEGO Lord of the Rings is out today on just about every single format you can think of. Be sure to check back to GodisaGeek.com for the full review of the game at the start of next week.
