PlayStation All-Stars “just a rip off” Says Hideki Kamiya
Devil May Cry and Bayonetta designer Hideki Kamiya has called Sony’s upcoming brawler just a rip off, on twitter.
Kamiya who currently works for Platinum Games, was asked if he would like to see one of his characters appear in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal, he responded by saying:
Similarities between All-Stars and Nintendo’s long standing Smash Bros series are clear to see, both visually and in terms of core gameplay.
What do you think, are Sony “ripping off” Smash Bros? Should they have put more effort into making All-Stars more unique? Or are people wrong to give Sony a hard time, after all the video game industry is constantly copying and evolving existing ideas!
