Metal Gear Solid 4’s Trophy Patch is Live in Europe
The patch that would bring trophies to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots was talked about for years by fans. There was plenty of people clamouring for the achievement integration on PS3 and Hideo Kojima revealed recently that it was finally going to happen. After the list was revealed, European MGS 4 players were told they’d get the patch in “early August”. The day has come.
On Twitter, Konami UKconfirmed that the patch is 516 MB in size and has a total of 34 trophies for you to bump up your level on PSN. 15 hidden, 7 bronze, 8 silver, 3 gold and one illustrious platinum. Konami has stated that the trophy implementation is “in response to huge demand from the Metal Gear Solid fanbase” and in celebration of the series’ 25th anniversary. The patch will automatically start once Guns of The Patriots players sign into PlayStation Network.
So, what are you waiting for? Dust off that classic and earn some virtual accolades for yourself!
