Wii U Games Like ZombiU Could Come to Xbox 360 & PS3
It seems the Wii U’s unique selling point the GamePad, may not be so unique after all.
In an interview with IGN, senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key confirmed ZombiU could be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in the future.
ZombiU at its core was designed to be a great Wii U game and in order to make that work on other platforms they would have to change a lot of what makes the game cool, and I’m not saying that can’t be done, but not in the next six months
There’s definitely going to be knowledge that we gain from developing for Wii U that we’ll be able to transfer not only to SmartGlass technology but also to even the cross-talk on PlayStation 3 and Vita
Of course with Xbox SmartGlass being an app for touchscreen devices the lack of physical buttons would hinder things, not to mention not every PS3 owner has a Vita.
