First Gameplay Footage of Dishonored in New E3 Trailer
Arkane Studios and Bethesda have put together their E3 trailer for their supernatural assassin game, Dishonored, and it gives gamers their first look at some actual in-game footage.
In this story of Revenge; executions, stealth kills and plenty of blood are all the order of the day, as we get to see a variety of ways in which players will be able to dispatch their foes. The strongest point of the trailer though might be the atmosphere created in the decaying Steampunk-style visuals. This is reminiscent of the ruined Rapture in Bioshock, which captured or imaginations so well. Sneaking around in this era of oppression looks like it will provide lots of opportunities for impressive set-pieces and interesting environments.
Will the game be able to live up to these lofty comparisons? Only time will tell, but check it all out in the video below:
Dishonored will be available in North America on October 9, in Australia on October 11 and throughout Europe on October 12, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
