Xbox LIVE Newsbeat May 29 – June 11: PopCap Frenzy

This week in the Xbox LIVE Arcade Newsbeat we are going all retro. Take the fact that SEGA are releasing a couple of their Vintage re-releases of classic titles, along with the week-long sale on all things PopCap – fans of simpler, addictive gaming should be well satiated.

On top of that we have a new downloadable release from the Virtua Fighter series – the game first created by retro mastermind Yu Suzuki. And as if that wasn’t enough, next week gives you the chance to pick up crazy piscatory simulator – SEGA Bass Fishing – for half price!

Coming back to the modern day, both Mass Effect 3 and Batman: Arkham City will see major updates; the former for multiplayer, whilst the latter will add a major storyline expansion for single player gamers.
