Deadlight First Gameplay Trailer

First announced in January Deadlight turned a lot of heads with its creepy visuals. Now Tequlia Works have released the first gameplay trailer for the game, and it’s looking well… creepy.

Deadlight is the first title from Spanish developer Tequlia Works, the team has plenty of experience though with staff having previously worked on games like Motorstorm, Castlevania, Diablo III and Heavy Rain.

Set in an apocalyptic 80’s America, Deadlight follows the journey of  silhouetted main character Randall Wayne. Set against a variety of decrepit greyed out backdrops, at first glance Deadlight can be quite reminiscent of another XBLA hit, Limbo. The game is described as a physics-puzzle platformer first and an action title second, which certainly sounds promising. Definitely not your typical Zombie game, Tequlia Works say “You don’t seek the truth or save the world, even crossing the street is a real challenge”.
