Extensive Dead Island Gameplay Walkthrough
Dead Island is expected to get a full reveal at this years E3. In anticipation of this, Deep Silver’s Brand Manager, Vincent Kummer has taken the time out to provide fans with a walkthrough which showcases the island of Banoi and some of the combat techniques players can expect to use throughout the game. The trailer is almost 12 minutes long and shows off a lot more gameplay detail than fans saw in a recent in-game trailer.
Vincent Kummer plays as a female character where he shows players the benefits of some of the weapons that will be available to players who buy the game. The weapons include an exploding knife, a rifle and a baseball bat laden with nails.
The gameplay footage shows of the visuals that are present in Banoi, and how the mood is affected by the changing environments across the vast island. Also, Vincent Kummer shows how players will be able to get around the open world environment in vehicles as well as on foot. Check out the clip for yourself, there’s even exploding zombies!
The trailer shows off the varying gameplay in Dead Island, which is welcome. Also, the addition of four player co-op on a drop-in, drop-out basis sounds rather appealing and players will not be alone for the 25-30 hours of gameplay that, according to Vincent Kummer, is set to feature in Dead Island.
