Rock Band 3 Goes Pantera Mad (Some Peter Frampton Too)
Harmonix today announced that a four pack of songs from Pantera and a legendary single from Peter Frampton will be available beginning May 19 in the Rock Band 3 Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
Four tracks featured on the 2010 compilation Pantera 1990-2000: A Decade of Dominance will be available for download in the Rock Band Music Store next week. Pantera Pack 01 will feature “Mouth for War” and “Walk”, from the 1992 album Vulgar Display of Power, and “5 Minutes Alone” and “I’m Broken”, from the 1994 album Far Beyond Driven.
The guitar-talking song that cemented Peter Frampton’s place in rock history, “Do You Feel Like We Do (Live)”, from 1976’s Frampton Comes Alive!, will also be featured as downloadable content for Rock Band next week.
As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional £0.59 upgrade download.
These tracks will be available for purchase as “Pantera Pack 01” and as individual tracks on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii. Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for £0.59 per song.

Next week’s tracks will be released on Thursday, May 19, rather than the usual Tuesday, however, the tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation 3 on May 18.
