H1Z1: Battle Royale’s Season 3 expansion is now available
It’s getting harder and harder to keep up with the ever changing world of Battle Royale games, and so H1Z1: Battle Royale has now got a free expansion.
Touted as the largest update in H1Z1’s history the Season 3 expansion brings new features and a new 50 player free-for-all deathmatch mode.
You’ll now find the game has ranked leaderboards and a 100 tier battle pass for you to earn your way through. The new battle pass also brings with it new reward types such as nameplates, backgrounds and character icons allowing you much more customisation options. Frequent log ins will grant rewards to players up to 50 separate log ins, with XP and currency.
You’ll now be able to experiment with loadouts in the game’s new Training Grounds, plus there’s a revamped UI and the lobbies have been redesigned to give the game a fresh feel. If this is enough to prise you away from Fortnite or Apex: Legends and back to H1Z1 returning players will receive a Shadow Riot Shotgun as a welcome back gift.
Finally, there are two new purchasable bundles on the PlayStation store, you can buy the X-Con Pack for €14.99 or the Escape Pack for €4.99 (most likely the same value in GBP), while PS Plus members can get the PS Plus exclusive Bandit Pack for free.
