Bandai Namco has today released the first development diary for it’s upcoming horror game The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan. The video diary explores how the setting for the game – a 60 year old rusted metal ship – has been imagined, and the levels the team are going to capture the right kind of atmospheric horror that they are looking for. Mixed into the developer commentary is some new footage of what we can expect to see from the game when it comes out in 2019 to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Take a look at the video below:
The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is the first in The Dark Pictures anthology which will be made up of standalone horror titles. Supermassive Games, the developers responsible for Until Dawn, will again thrust you into scenarios where you need to make choices to progress the story, many if not all will have consequences, and some even dictate who lives and who dies within each story.
In Man of Medan, you follow the story of five stowaways on a ship, and the decisions you take unravel the horrors and secrets that live on the ship, and its dark and foreboding atmosphere only serves to ramp up the tension of the unknown.
