NieR: Automata launches February 23 in Japan

PlatinumGames Square Enix have announced that their RPG NieR: Automata will launch on February 23 in Japan — available on PlayStation 4 and PC.

NieR: Automata takes place after the events of the first NieR game, sharing the same post-apocalyptic setting as well as a few returning characters. The plot focuses on a great war that sees humanity forced to fight against a mechanical race of alien invaders — humans are forced to flee to the safety of the Moon, while the protagonist, a combat android, are sent to Earth to fight on their behalf.
