Rory McIlroy the new face of PGA Tour
On the day in which a (Northern) Irish Saint is celebrated all over the world, EA have announced the capture of their own, as world number one Rory McIlroy takes the helm of the renowned golfing franchise.
Taking over from Tiger Woods, the four-time Major champion is the new cover athlete and namesake of Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.
On the news, McIlroy said:
“I’m very proud and humbled and proud to see my face and name on EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. This is a great honour, and something I couldn’t even dream of growing up playing the sport. I really hope people enjoy the game and I’m very glad I can be a part of it.”
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is set to release in June 2015.
