Sony has announced that they have sold a staggering 18.5 million PlayStation 4 consoles worldwide.
In a post on the Japanese PlayStation site, Sony also said that 4.1 million of these were sold over the holiday period. That’s a hell of a lot of happy kids this Christmas.
PlayStation Plus stats were also released, with 10.9 million players using the service as of January 2.
It’s an impressive couple of months sales given that figures were sat at 13.5 million at the end of October, making the recent network issues all the more of a shame.
