New 5 Vs 5 PVP Mode Battles Of Kyrat In Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 may be bringing you Elephants that you can ride whilst causing mayhem – but that won’t be the only feature that is new to the Far Cry series. Battles Of Kyrat is a brand new five-on-five, player versus player multi-player gameplay mode. The idea behind it is that gamers join either the Elite Guard of the Rakshasa or the Rebels of the Golden Path, as they re-tell the fight that took place for control of the island.

The two factions have unique skulls and weapons to make use of, with the Rakshasa being the mythical warriors of Kyrat who can call upon animals to aid them, or use bows and teleportation to their advantage. The Golden Path however make use of more modern weaponry and vehicles – such as; assault rifles, shotguns and explosives. These are just a few of the different skills at your disposal in the new mode, which is made up of 10 maps.

The three different gameplay modes in Battles Of Kyrat are:

– Outpost – the Golden Path works to establish an outpost in the region while the Rakshasa has to get rid of them and secure the outpost for Pagan Min.

– Propaganda – the Golden Path has to destroy three Pagan Min installations while the Rakshasa protects them.

– Demon Mask – both sides have to find the mask and return it to their home base.

These new modes will add entirely new, team-based gameplay to the Far Cry series, and looks set to build upon the lore of the game world.
