Digimon All-Star Rumble Taking A Leaf Out Of The Smash Bros. Book

by on August 1, 2014

Not content with getting their superstar mascot Pac-Man into the latest Super Smash Bros. title from Nintendo as a playable character, Bandai Namco Games have decided to release their own multiplayer arena brawler, starring their version of Pocket Monsters – the Digimon.

Although the title has only just been announced, Digimon All-Star Rumble is planned for a relatively quick release – in Fall 2014 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The title will see 12 popular Digimon monsters scrapping in an arena battle setting, allowing multiplayer for up to four gamers. The main new idea in the game will be digi-volving, where fighters will be able to evolve into one of 32 additional different forms mid-fight.

A November 11 launch date is set for North America, with a worldwide release most likely to be expected later that week.
