FIFA 11 – We Are 11 TV Advert Unveiled

There’s only a couple of weeks or so to go until the launch of FIFA 11 (click to read our impressions) and that can only mean one thing, a massive advertisement/marketing campaign from EA. Yup, it has begun and we are impressed. The theme for the campaign this year is “We Are 11”, which not only represents the 11 in the title but also refers to the fact that players can now choose to be a goalkeeper. Nicely done Mr EA marketing man…or woman!

The TV advert, which has now been unveiled, is rather good and includes several superstar footballers. FIFA regular Wayne Rooney returns alongside Kaka, Andrés Iniesta, Karim Benzema, Mesut Özil, Petr Cech and Giorgio Chiellini. If you’d rather wait too see it on TV then you will be able to do just that this coming Sunday during half-time of the Manchester United and Liverpool match, it will be the first showing of the advert.

FIFA 11 is due to be released in North America on September 28th and in Europe on October 1st.
