Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Takes To The Football Field

by on March 3, 2014

Over the weekend, the Zombies from Plats Vs Zombies were set loose on the streets of London by Electronic Arts, in order to promote the shooter title in the PvZ series, Garden Warfare. The game has surprised many by actually being a pretty solid shooting game, as you can see in the full GodisaGeek.com review here.

As well as exploring Marble Arch, Parliament Square and more locations around the capital, the Zombies somehow found their way onto a football pitch, where one of the Pea-Shooters from Plants Vs Zombies put Premier League Goalkeepers John Ruddy of Norwich city and Asmir Begovic of Stoke City through their paces in possibly the strangest penalty shoot-out you have ever seen.

Garden Warfare only released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but managed to score a respectable fourth spot in the UK games chart this week – the game may not be your most traditional shooter, but has bags of character and is actually family-friendly.
