Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is the number one game in the UK right now, and that isn’t a bad feat for a game that is really around a year old. Many gamers won’t really know the differences between the original release and this new version – aside from it now being available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
A new video has been released wherein Executive Producer Scott Amos explains some of the many improvements that have been made to the title as it makes its leap to the mext–generation. This includes textures featuring four times the detail, fifteen times the amount of particle details and improved lighting and shadow effects.
Unfortunately there has been no new story content added to the game, as it always seemed like a missed opportunity that no single player DLC was added to the title when it was first available. Maybe some extra content is planned to follow-up the Definitive Edition release, but it seems doubtful.
