If any gamers actually managed to survive the original Dark Souls game and still come out the other side wanting more, then the wait is almost over for Dark Souls II. The sequel from Namco Bandai Games and From Software is set to hit retail on March 11 in North America and March 14 in Europe, so prepare to die, again.
Today a new trailer has been released that gives gamers an idea of some of the terrible monsters and torturous challenges that will lay before them in the new game. Although largely cinematic, there is some gameplay footage squeezed in there which should satisfy fans until launch day.
Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls before it are both regarded as some of the hardest games in recent memory, if not ever, and Dark Souls II looks to bring more of the same to the table. If you have the patience and fortitude for the challenge, look for the GodisaGeek.com review in March.
