FIFA 14 is your first UK all format number one of 2014. The title has been at the top of the chart for the last six weeks meaning it was also the Christmas number one (which won me a bet and £50, so thanks for that).
Unsurprisingly there were no new entries in the top 10, as no new games came out. Call of Duty: Ghosts was second, marginally beating Assassins Creed 4 by 4,000 units. The only change in the top 10 from last week was Minecraft climbing a single place to 8th whilst Just Dance 2014 fell to 9th.
It is also worth noting that Grand Theft Auto 5 is now the 4th biggest selling game in the UK ever. But that is not really surprising after it made $1 billion in its first 3 days on sale worldwide . Chart-Track believes that GTA V will become the biggest selling game ever in the UK within the next few months.
