A new FIFA game is always a big talking point – and this year has been no different. Over the last few months we have seen no shortage of news and rumours concerning FIFA 14 – the latest one being the amusing inclusion of Sky Sports host and pundit Jeff Stelling (also a former Countdown host).
But some of the news is actually serious and interesting stuff – just like the trailer that has been released today. The new video takes a look at the new Pure Shot shooting system that has been introduced for this iteration of the game, which is designed to result in a larger variety of different, more realistic strikes.
It also shows us how the in-game Ball Physics have been tweaked and adjusted, in order to recreate a more realistic ball flight and responsiveness. Each year the FIFA series edges closer and closer to realism – but sometimes fans don’t find the so-called “improvements” to be better than what they had in the previous game. With FIFA 14 being the first next-gen FIFA game, it will be exciting to see how far EA can push the game forward.
