Next Gen Tomb Raider Sequel ‘Well Into Development’
Square Enix have confirmed that a sequel to this year’s Tomb Raider reboot is in the works for next generation consoles.
Speaking on the company’s blog Square Enix America & Europe CEO Phil Rogers said: “I am also excited to reveal that we are well into development on a next-generation Tomb Raider sequel.”
How far into development at Crystal Dynamics that means however is up for debate but after selling 3.4m copies within a month of release the company will surely be focusing a lot of their efforts on the next Lara Croft adventure.
Last week it was revealed that a new Tomb Raider comic set for release in February 2014 would lead directly into the sequel.
