While details on the next generation versions of FIFA 14 remain limited, we’ve learned of some changes to current-gen Ultimate Team, at least.
Touting customisation as a major part of the package, EA Sports has said that the all new Chemistry Styles will play a major role. These allow FUT players to mould their team into an unforgiving unit by changing attributes of players as they see fit. There are a number of Chemistry Styles available to various positions, allowing you to attach skills to your players in order to strengthen in weak areas.
The popular Seasons mode has now been expanded from 5 to 10 divisions, the UI has been overhauled to offer an easier to navigate system and potential targets can be searched by name in the transfer market.
With Ultimate Team being one of the more popular modes in FIFA, it’s no surprise that EA Sports are pushing it as hard as they are. It’s safe to assume that much of the above will be available on next generation consoles – maybe even on a larger scale.
