Spelunky Gets PC Release Date
Those of you waiting for the PC version of the brilliant Spelunky remake that hit Xbox 360 last year take note: Spelunky will hit Steam August 8th. Hoorah!
It won’t be the first time Spelunky has shown its face, with the original, 8-bit, 2008 game available to PC players already. The super sexy HD remake is well worth a look, however, as our review attests:
Is it worth the upgrade though? It’s true that the original is actually free to play on the PC, however even for a four year old game, the remake has outclassed it in every way possible. After playing the original I can safely say the XBLA version I had the pleasure of getting my hands on, every improvement has been made to make the game better.
