Dragon Age Inquisition Announced for 2014

Bioware took to the stage at EA’s 2013 E3 press conference to announce the third title in the Dragon Age series, Dragon Age Inquisition.

The game is developed in the Frostbite 3 engine and promises a full open world for players to explore.

There was no mention of Hawke, but the trailer showed Humans, Dwarves, Qunari and many nasty looking types of enemy (including a rather serpentine dragon) in a world full of devastation. The entire trailer was narrated by Dragon Age 1’s Morrigan.

The game is marked for Fall 2014 and these early signs indicate something more in line with the first Dragon Age, which is very good news indeed.
