Let’s Play: Flying Red Barrel
‘shmups. The Japanese indie scene sure does seem to love making them. This isn’t something I so much, mind. In fact, the contrary. I’m a huge fan of ‘shmups and the bullet crazy hell contained within. Flying Red Barrel, Diary of a Little Aviator, by Orange_Juice, is far from an exception to that rule.
As far as bullet-hell titles go, Flying Red Barrel is untraditionally simple. The player takes on the role of a nameless aviator who is tasked with defending the skies from aviators and other airborne foes.
