Shin Megami Tensei IV Gets Awesome Samurai-themed Gameplay Trailer

Atlus are enjoying a killer year, much like Ninty’s 3DS, which has been host to a plethora of banging games. The latest instalment in the Megami Tensei series looks like another corker. To the uninitiated, Megami Tensei is right up there with Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy in Japan. It is criminally slept on in the UK – something which should not be the case, especially when I am giving a 10/10 to the Persona 4 Golden Spinoff. This latest sequel, engineered exclusively for the 3DS, is out this summer.

To whet your appetite we have an extremely cool gameplay trailer, which shows a badass samurai getting into it with some of the series trademark demons. If it doesn’t make you fiend for some handheld RPG goodness, then there must be something wrong with you.

Pre-orders will guarantee the collectible box set, which includes a 176-page starter strategy guide and art book, soundtrack CD, and collectible slipcase. Atlus will be showing hands-on demos at E3 this year, too – something we are very excited about.
