Warren Spector Joins Blizzard COO to Organise Gaming Academy Curriculum
The Denius-Sams Gaming Academy at the the University of Texas welcomes a big name to the course. Joining Blizzard COO Paul Sams is none other than Warren Spector.
With his name attached to such games as Deus Ex, System Shock and the Thief series, Spector’s prowess is well known – even Epic Mickey and his recent rants can’t discredit the man’s history in the industry.
Spector is putting together the curriculum of the course, which will accommodate 20 students in total. Set to begin in Autumn 2014, the 12 month program will see students learn about varying degrees of the business, along with creating a game at the end of it.
