A new Vita game, hooray! Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery stars a young boy named Jacob who is spending the entire summer at Camp Eagle Feather Summer Camp. Jacob isn’t normally thrilled about interacting with other kids, but an encounter with Bigfoot looks to change a summer that wasn’t shaping up too well.
This game’s developer, Lucid Games, may not be that well known but when I tell you that many of its staff come from the now defunct Bizarre Creations, that might perk your interest. With such games to their name as Project Gotham Racing, the glorious Formula 1 97 and Blur, Lucid Games has serious pedigree in its team.
Handling the story is George Poles. Again, another name that you mightn’t be familiar with, but Poles has credits on The 11 o’ Clock Show, Smack The Pony, he’s done stuff with Rory Bremner and he was head writer on the BAFTA winning Double Take.
With puzzles, interesting characters and an interactive world at your fingertips, Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery could be one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks as more information will come out.
