New Defiance Trailer Shows Plot While Show Breaks Records

Defiance ReviewLearn about the Ark Hunters and how Earth came to be infested with big red bugs thanks to this lovely new Defiance trailer.

This trailer is designed to elucidate on the world and origins of Defiance following the premier of the game’s companion TV series yesterday.

The two entities, game and show, are designed to co-exist with a shared narrative that sees missions and events having repercussions for players and actors alike.

Speaking of the TV show, American figures have been released for the series premier and Defiance has broken Syfy’s previous records, pulling in a total of 2.7 million viewers.

Syfy were more than happy to bang the drum of success, noting that the series attracted more eyes than premiers for game of Thrones, The Newsroom and Teen Wolf.

So it appears that people are interested in Defiance and, considering the scope of proceedings, it makes sense that the world shown in the video below has a pretty sound sci-fi setup. Soundtrack’s not half bad either…
