Remember that game that either made you love a genre you previously didn’t/made you fall back in love with a genre you had lost all hope on? Well, it’s coming to iOS. The utterly fantastic XCOM: Enemy Unknown is making its way to iPad and iPhone as lead designer Jake Solomon explains in the video, below.
Solomon says that it is the “full game” with nothing compromised or taken out. A perfect fit for the platform, combat looks to work wonderfully on Apple branded tablets and smartphones. No date on this just yet as Firaxis will be hard at work on the port over the next number of months.
That’s not the only XCOM related news though, as the studio behind the title were at PAX East over the weekend and teased something at their panel. They aired a video – which you can see below thanks to AllGamesBeta – that spoke about “another force” and how the “war continues”.
There’s no word on if this is DLC, or a planned sequel, but it’s certainly good news for those that loved one of 2012’s best games.
