More than just a mere sidekick, in the newest trailer for Irrational Games’ eagerly anticipated Bioshock Infinite, Elizabeth is positioned as someone not to be trifled with.
Throughout the near two minutes that focuses on lead character Booker DeWitt’s right-hand woman – voiced by Courtnee Draper – it becomes clear that Elizabeth is at first unsure as to why the baddies are after her. As the trailer progress, along with the wonderful bluesy-bluegrass backing track, Elizabeth appears to become more relaxed with her powers.
The trailer ends with Booker claiming he’s not afraid of God, but Elizabeth is someone that he does fear.
