Wal-Mart Think They Know When The Last of Us is Coming Out
They’re probably wrong, but a reader of IGN has sent them an image of a reservation card which states that highly anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us is coming in Spring 2013.
It wouldn’t be the first time that a release window has been announced early by a retailer, and with a big story trailer coming on December 10, who knows, maybe the release date will be tagged to that trailer.
But otherwise, this needs to be taken with a massive pinch of salt, as it could just be a placeholder assumption on Wal-Mart’s part, especially given that the image has the caveat “Release date subject to change” on it. But nonetheless, here’s hoping, as we want to get our hands on this as much as the next gamer. Indeed, Sony have already told IGN that “Wal-Mart is speculating”.

The Last of Us is scheduled to be released in 2013, exclusively for PlayStation 3.
