New The Last of Us Teaser Trailer to Debut at the VGAs!If you’re not at least a little bit excited about Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic survival horror, The Last of Us, you may actually be just as dead the game’s ravaged world, such is the ridiculous level of quality on display.

First announced at last year’s Spike TV Awards and later confirmed to be a PlayStation 3 exclusive, the game sees grizzled survivor Joel and his teenage ward Ellie travelling across a future US city where humanity has been obliterated by a parasitic fungus that turns people into ravenous, infected mutants.

We’ve already seen plenty of cinematic trailers and gameplay videos, and a little while ago we reported the existence of a prequel comic filling in Ellie’s backstory, and now Naughty Dog have announced that a brand new teaser trailer will be unveiled at this Friday’s Spike TV Video Game Awards.

The Last of Us will be available on PlayStation 3 in 2013.
