Riven, a remake of the 1997 title, is coming to PC and VR this year

Developer Cyan Worlds has announced that Riven is coming to PC and VR in 2024, and is a remake of Riven: The Sequel to Myst (1997).

If you’re a fan of adventure games you’ve probably heard of Myst, even if you’re of a younger generation. The developer says that “Riven promises to blend the intricate puzzle-solving experience of the original with cutting-edge technology to create incredible visuals, a fully explorable 3D world, and the optional ability to jump in through VR platforms, offering an immersive experience like never before”.

Along with its predecessor, Riven: The Sequel to Myst is considered one of the most influential games of the ‘90s.
