Podcast 540: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, LEGO Fortnite
As the year cranks slowly into life, that can only mean one thing: it’s time for a first podcast of 2024.
The usual podcast catch-up has to happen, so we can find out what people have been playing over the Christmas period, but for Adam and Lyle that mostly involves Fortnite.
That said, the pair have also been playing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a triple-A MetroidVania, which has enamoured pretty much the entire team, so let’s chat about why, shall we, and perhaps discuss if more big studios and publishers should be doing games like this, and not just the usual first-person or third-person titles that seem to be all the rage these days.
