Focus Home Interactive acquire The Surge developer Deck13

Focus Home Interactive continue to grow as a company. With cult hits like A Plague Tale, the French publisher is quickly becoming a household name in gaming. Today the growth continues, as they acquire The Surge developer Deck13.

Deck13 Interactive has already developed major successes such as The Surge franchise with Focus Home Interactive, and both teams already look forward to even more exciting creative collaborations ahead. In addition, Focus Home Interactive has acquired Deck13’s publishing service for indie developments, opening up the group to exciting new opportunities.

It will be interesting to see what the new franchise coming out of Deck13. The Surge 2 was a huge improvement on the first game, and if this trend continues it’ll be worth keeping on eye on the German studio’s next project.
