Minecraft Bedrock Edition Finally Coming to PlayStation 4 Tomorrow
Minecraft players on other formats have been playing the Bedrock Edition for quite some time, but it seems that PlayStation is finally ready to join the party! Minecraft Bedrock Edition, including cross-platform play (at last!) is arriving on PS4 tomorrow.
All existing Minecraft owners on PS4 will gain access to this updated version for free, as part of the 1.14 update (adorably called “Buzzy Bees”) that should automatically be applied when loading up Minecraft tomorrow.
On top of a unified game across all formats, the Bedrock Edition brings with it access to the Minecraft Marketplace. This is your one-stop shop for worlds, skins, mash-up packs and mini-games.
All this will be available when the Minecraft Bedrock Edition launches tomorrow on PlayStation 4.
