Fractured Minds Launches to Help Raise Mental Health Awareness

by on November 14, 2019

With the recent World Mental Health Day introduction to Safe In Our World, a new charity aiming to help gamers and creators with mental health issues, BAFTA Award-winning indie developer Emily Mitchell has released her game Fractured Minds, to help boost mental health awareness. It has launched digitally on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC today, with 80% of the profits going back to Emily herself and Safe In Our World.

Published by Wired Productions, Fractured Minds is inspired by Emily Mitchell’s own personal journey through mental health issues. It deals with deeply personal and emotional issues, from isolation to anxiety.

“I created Fractured Minds to help those who suffer from anxiety and other mental health issues feel they’re not alone,” said Emily Mitchell. “The effects of illness can be invisible from the outside, yet debilitating to those affected, so it’s important to continue raising awareness and offering support. I am grateful for the support I’ve received and want to help others however I can.”

Fractured Minds is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, priced at just £1.79 and with 80% of proceeds going to developer Emily Mitchell and the charity Safe In Our World.
