Rain of Reflections Out Now on Steam

Lionbite Games’ episodic tactical adventure Rain of Reflections has released on Steam today. Well, its first chapter, Set Free, has released today, with a 10% launch discount to celebrate.

Set in a dystopian future, Set Free follows scientist Wilona, who has been trying to cure a global infertility epidemic. She begins to question having to experiment on that world’s last-born child, which sets her off on a life-or-death quest, including turn-based, strategic encounters.

Your dialogue choices can convince, defuse or outsmart other characters in fully voiced conversations, but they can also affect your friends and foes in combat, helping to change the tide of battle at a critical moment. The game’s unique motivation system means that Wilona’s relationships with characters impact how you can approach situations, allowing various paths to accomplish your goals, some more aggressive than others.

Its following chapters will each see a new character take the lead role, with chapter 2, “Open Eye” handing over the reins to a deadbeat private detective in a cyberpunk city district. Chapter 3, “Undercurrent” will focus on an underground resistance and its leader, Imra.
