Ring Fit Adventure is heading to Nintendo Switch next month.
In Ring Fit Adventure, players will explore a world, battling enemies using real-life fitness exercises. Players real-world movements will be turned into in-game actions via the new Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories, which are included with the game.
Daily play will ensure that players regularly work out various parts of their body, and additional mini-games and workout routines have been designed to create a fun experience for players of differing skill levels and lifestyles.
“It’s in Nintendo’s DNA to keep thinking of new ways to entertain players and put smiles on their faces, and Ring Fit Adventure for Nintendo Switch is a new kind of game where fitness meets adventure,” said Stephan Bole, Nintendo of Europe President. “I hope that once players hold the Ring-Con, put on the Leg Strap and start playing for themselves, they’ll be immersed in a journey that will keep them motivated to come back and have fun exercising every day.”
The game will feature a number of different modes including an Adventure mode and Quick Play. Adventure mode has more than 20 different worlds in the game and players will jog, squat, jump and punch their way through them. The movement set features more than 40 Fit Skills with exercises divided into arms, abs, legs and yoga categories. Quick Play will enable players to enjoy Ring Fit Adventure in shorter bursts.
Ring Fit Adventure is due out on 18 October.
