505 Games has announced it will be publishing pixel platform adventure game Horace on PC via Steam.
Developed by Paul Helman and Sean Scaplehorn, Horace is a platforming game with metroidvania-inspired abilities to unlock as you progress through the game. Players will have to overcome challenging puzzles and defeat difficult bosses while experiencing a touching narrative.
505 Games is presenting players with an opportunity to help determine the launch price on Steam with a simple call-to-action of wishlisting the game on the official Steam page.
There are four wishlist tiers, each with a corresponding launch discount reward which is only activated for players once the tier threshold has been met:
- Tier 1: 1K wishlists = £8.99 (10% discount)Â
- Tier 2: 50K wishlists = £7.50  (25% discount)Â
- Tier 3 100K wishlists = £4.99  (50% discount)Â
- Tier 4: 200K wishlists = £2.50  (75% discount)
If the final tier is reached by the community on Steam on or before the deadline of 16 July, Horace will be available for all players to purchase with a discount of 75% off at launch for one week. After that the game will revert back to the full purchase price of £9.99.
Horace is due for release on 18 July.
