You can take part in the official Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay Contest

CD Projekt Red has today announced an official Cosplay Contest for their upcoming open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077. The contest is challenging you to take any character currently revealed in the game, either through trailers, screenshots or even artwork, and use this as inspiration for your own cosplay.

You can take part in a variety of ways. You can either submit your entry direct to the official cosplay contest website or for a more public display or your work, there will be official offline qualifiers held at various events over the coming months. See the list below:

gamescom (Cologne, Germany), Aug. 21-24

PAX West (Seattle, USA), Aug. 30-Sep. 2

Tokyo Game Show (Tokyo, Japan), Sep. 12-15

Igromir (Moscow, Russia), Oct. 3-6

Paris Games Week (Paris, France), Oct. 30-Nov. 3

There will be a total of 10 finalists, 5 online, and 5 offline that will meet onstage in a finale to held early next year. The victor will receive the lion’s share of the $40,000 purse up for grabs and also the opportunity to appear on the cover of a premier entertainment publication.
