The writer behind Portal 1 and 2 is back at Valve
Erik Wolpaw, the writer for Portal 1 and 2 and who also co-wrote Half Life 2 Episodes 1 and 2 is back at Valve according to a Reddit user.
The user known as Trenchman noticed Erik Wolpaw’s name in the game Artifact, which is a collaboration between Valve and Richard Garfield. Upon seeing this the user decided to e-mail Gabe Newell of Valve (as you do) to confirm if the writer was indeed back in the employ of Valve, and Gabe was delighted to confirm that he is.
Expect this to begin a whole new slew of ‘HALF LIFE 3!’ and ‘OMG NEW PORTAL!’ theories, in the near future.
