With two weeks until the Resident Evil 2 remake hits our consoles Capcom have opened up a Resident Evil experience…..in London.
Yes, unfortunately, like most games related events this one is in London. it’s taking place in the Bargehouse in London’s South Bank to be more precisely. The event will take place on the game’s release day Friday 25th and go through to Saturday 26th, spaces are limited, so head through the link provided to book if you’re insterested.
The event will involve you entering a Raccoon Police Department themed area and have you make your way to a Safe House, details on the PR blurb are sketchy at best, most likely to not give anything away and as a result not spoil the surprise, but it seems you’ll be involved in some puzzle solving stuff.
Once you’re through the Safe House Experience you’ll be able to go to the bar, where you can experience a wide-range of Resident Evil themed cocktails, including a ‘Real-Blood antidote’ supposedly to save you from the T-Virus. There’ll also be a range of beers, wines and apparently rations.
Finally, if you’re there instead of being at home playing the game, there’ll be a selection of demo pods for you to play on, just in case you need convincing that you need the game, I know Gary is struggling to contain his excitement.
Participants must be 18 or over. Resident Evil 2 is out on PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 25th.
