Enhance Games has announced over 10 additional game modes that will appear in its upcoming puzzler Tetris Effect. The game, that is due out on PS4 and PSVR on November 9, 2018, takes the traditional Tetris formula and adds a new spin on proceedings, as well as focusing on the visual effects in games to breathe life into the old game.
The new modes fall into different categories; Classic, Relax, Focus and Adventurous. The Classic modes challenge you to complete certain tasks either within a set time limit or within a line limit. The Relax modes either remove the Game Over if the blocks reach the top of the screen (you simply start over with an empty board) or alternatively allow you to play with peaceful, ambient music. The Focus modes require you to achieve as many combos or all clears as you can in the time limit, with successful combos /clears adding to your remaining time. And finally the Adventurous mode offer more tricky, specific dynamics to your Tetris game for added challenge. There is also a Mystery mode which pits you against random conditions.
As well as revealing these new modes, Enhance Games have also confirmed the game will have a free limited-time demo, available on the PS Store from November 1, 2018 to November 5, 2018.
