INSOMNIA: The Ark Launch Trailer Revealed Ahead of This Month’s Release

New Dieselpunk RPG INSOMNIA: The Ark now has a release date, publisher HeroCraft has announced. Alongside that, a final launch trailer is available for your viewing pleasure. Check it out:

The new trailer gives players the best taste yet of the labour-of-love RPG, eight years in the making at Samara, Russia-based developer Studio Mono. Players explore a colossal space metropolis brimming with the secrets of a long-gone civilization – with an epic story that can be completed alongside four NPC companions, with 12 different endings determined by players’ choices throughout the game.

I’m getting some real Bioshock/Dishonored vibes from this, with a dash of Fallout to go with it. With a closed beta recently helping to iron out any last-minute issues and even help improve a few things; Studio Mono is ready to release the game later this month. The game will even be supported with free, post-launch DLC that will add new features and additional content.

With survival elements and a non-linear story featuring 12 different endings, it sounds like this will be a huge game and it has tonnes of potential. You can find out for yourself if it lives up to that potential, when INSOMNIA: The Ark comes to PC, via Steam, on September 27th.
