Presenting at the Korean Overwatch Fan Festival, Overwatch Lead Designer Jeff Kaplan announced a brand new control map for the popular shooter. Named Busan, after its Korean setting, the map will feature three distinct areas to do battle in. The first is the tranquil, picturesque Sanctuary, featuring traditional Asian buildings and scenery. Second, you have the Downtown area where you’ll duke it out amid the hustle and bustle of Korea’s city streets. And finally you have D.Va’s very own MEKA base, meaning – you guessed it – you can finally shoot it up in D.Va’s workplace.
The map is now available on the Public Test Region for you to try.

To compliment the announcement of a D.Va-centric new map, Blizzard also launched the latest in their series of animated shorts. This latest one titled “Shooting Star” focuses on D.Va, her best friend, and a surprise battle with some new Omnic adversaries. It’s a heartwarming short, and is up to the usual visual standard you expect from these Overwatch shorts.
