Apple’s new retail space in Italy is set to revitalise a piazza in Milan with an extensive and attractive redesign.
Dubbed the Piazza Liberty the new location will include both a grand public plaza with a store below. The plaza will be host to a large glass fountain that also serves as the entrance to the store and the backdrop to an outdoor amphitheatre. This piazza will be open to the public twenty-four hours a day and will be host to special events throughout the year.
The location opens this thursday with hourly sessions on photography, filmmaking, music creation, coding, design and more, and through September the piazza will host a month long event with twenty-one local artists showing their visions of the creative future for Milan.
